ordering guide

1.

Explore my wedding design guide below to discover what I offer. If you’re interested in working together the first step is to fill out the request form on my contact page. I love to know as much information about your wedding as possible and your initial stationery ideas so I can get a real feel for you and your day. For wedding invitations, I recommend placing your order 4—6 months prior, and for on-the-day stationery 3—4 months prior to your wedding.

2.

If more details are required for a quote I’ll arrange a phone or zoom call to talk more about your needs. From our chat, I’ll ping you a final quote, timeline and deposit invoice. I offer a two-step payment plan where your 50% deposit is used to place your order, and a 50% balance which is due after final amendments and before your stationery is sent to print.

3.

Once your deposit has been paid, I’ll invite you to a collaborative Trello board where you will fill out your details, decisions for paper colours and illustrations, and where I will send you digital design proofs. Timelines vary, but initial concepts are presented generally within 2—4 weeks. I’ll then refine the design with two rounds of included edits or until you’re 100% happy with it.

4.

After your final design is confirmed and the balance paid, I’ll send your wedding stationery to print. Printing generally takes 3-6 weeks. I can then add additional fine-art embellishments such as hand-penned addresses and wax seals.

5.

Your wedding products will then be safely packaged and sent to you by recorded delivery.

helpful tip

Most of my couples allocate 5% or more of their wedding budget on stationery, this includes invitations and on the day items.

invitation suites

I have offered a guide to the pricing of packages below, based on one-colour ink letterpress printing on straight edge paper. With letterpress, the cost of printing is in the setup, smaller runs will inevitably cost more per piece than larger runs. For digital or hot foil quotes, please enquire.

Please note that my bespoke design fee is not included which ranges from £160 — £800 depending on the complexity of the design.

print options

letterpress

Each sheet is pressed with a metal plate, adding an impression to the paper.  This beautiful technique can add extra impact, luxury and tangibility to your stationery. It blends perfectly with handmade deckle edge paper.

HOT foil

Similar to letterpress printing, hot foil printing uses pressure and heat to add metallic foil to your paper, creating a subtle impression and lustrous look. Combine with letterpress printing to create true invitation magic.

digital

A printing method that uses liquid vegetable-based ink, producing a flat and smooth finish. This is the most cost-effective method of printing. This method of printing is available for digital-friendly deckle edge and straight edge paper only.

paper options

deckle edge

An organic and textured sock with natural deckle edges on all sides. Best suited for letterpress and foil printing but a limited stock also works well for digitally printed stationery.

straight edge

A high-quality, thick, FSC certified GF Smith paper stock with a straight edge. Perfect for digital, foil or letterpress printed stationery.

petal deckle edge

For couples wanting to incorporate their wedding flowers into their designs, dried petals can be added to handmade paper for an additional cost.
