STATIONERY TERMS + CONDITIONS 

PAYMENT

A 50% non-refundable payment is required for any work to begin. Orders under £500 will require full payment upfront. Any remaining balance is required prior to items being sent to print. No orders will be sent to print, nor shipped before payment has been made in its entirety.

ORDER CANCELLATION

Your 50% payment is a non-refundable fee that covers administration and design work. Cancellation prior to design may be refunded at the discretion of Claire Rose Creative.

DESIGN DATE

Design dates are only guaranteed if you have completed your To-Dos prior to your allotted date. Information that remains incomplete once the week of your design date has passed will have their design dates moved to the next available time slot. Please note that at busy times this may be up to three months in the future.

PROOF APPROVAL

Claire Rose Creative provides an initial sketch and one free round of proof revisions, for both bespoke and semi-custom design suites and stationery products, if further proofs are required after this time there is a charge of £30 per proof. Once first proofs have been completed, any major changes to design - for example choosing a different suite, or a different illustration style - will be counted as a separate project, and work for these additional proofs will be charged at a rate of £30 per hour. Final proofs for print are sent to you via Trello, using the wording and layout that we will have discussed and the information you have provided. Please note that you are responsible for checking your proofs before approving them and this includes the layout, wording, spelling and grammar. You are also responsible for checking that the details and numbers ordered, in your final invoice are correct. We suggest that you also have a friend or family member check your proofs and that you both view these online and print them using the ‘actual size’ option on your printer to ensure you are happy with the size of all text and illustrations. If designs are approved and signed off with typos or errors and subsequently printed, Claire Rose Creative will not take responsibility for these errors. If replacements are required after approval of final proof, they will be charged for in full. We will always print as per the proof that you have approved. Unless Claire Rose Creative deviates from your approved proof, a refund or reprint will not be offered. Any wedding illustration orders under £300 will not include any initial sketches or proof rounds.

PRINT, PAPER AND COLOUR

Computer monitors and web browsers vary greatly, and the colours used in the PDF proofs of your stationery may appear differently in person. Proofs printed and checked on a home printer are not guaranteed to be an accurate representation of items printed on a professional press. Our Letterpress, Hot Foil, Deckle-edge paper invitations, and lazer-engraved products are printed and finished by hand and slight variations and irregularities do occur in the end result. All printing, including letterpress, foiled, lazer and digital may have an allowable variation of 3mm, this is print industry standard. Printing is carried out by one of our trusted print partners. If reprints and/or extra invitations of printed items are required at a later date, Claire Rose Creative cannot guarantee exact colour matching to previous print runs, this is due to print press calibration. SAMPLES Samples are displayed via video chat or client meetings as a means for the customer to see the quality of the products we offer only. Due to all the variables in design and print, we cannot guarantee that your order will replicate a sample previously seen.

CALLIGRAPHY ELEMENTS 

Calligraphy envelopes and other elements are created by hand. This means that irregularities and variations may occur in the end result. Calligraphy addresses and names shall be provided by the client in a timely manner, and in a format, as requested by Claire Rose Creative. Any formatting required by Claire Rose Creative will be charged at a rate of £30 per hour. Once calligraphy elements have been received by the client any spelling errors must be highlighted within three days. Any additions or changes required due to client omissions or errors will be liable to a £30 set-up fee, plus our standard rate of £30 per hour. 

TIMESCALES 

Once we have received your order information and initial 50% payment, we aim to get your initial design sketch to you by two weeks after your design date. Once the final proof has been approved, we aim to deliver your stationery items within 4-6 weeks depending on the print finish – we will give you a better estimate at the time of your order. We make every effort to ensure that your order is processed and sent as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, these timings may change due to circumstances beyond our control, but we will always keep you updated on your order. Illustration commission timescales vary and final delivery will be discussed and agreed prior to invoicing. 

PACKAGING 

Claire Rose Creative uses recycled materials to package deliveries, where possible. While it is not the prettiest packaging, it is good for the environment which is of utmost importance. Where possible, we also use paper and paper tape instead of plastic. 

DELIVERY 

We send all orders either via recorded delivery or courier. These parcels are insured to the full value of the contents, however, Claire Rose Creative are not responsible for any delivery issues caused by client error - including any incorrect delivery addresses supplied by the client, or deliveries signed for by neighbours and/or left in ‘safe spaces’. Please ensure someone will be able to sign for your package. 

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY 

Claire Rose Creative can not be held responsible for delays caused by international carriers, nor are we liable for any custom fees or import duties. Please note that international deliveries may exceed the expected delivery time. 

OWNERSHIP 

All stationery, artwork and designs are the copyright of Claire Rose Creative. All rights reserved and they may not be reproduced in any form without the prior written permission of Claire Rose Creative. Any improper or illegal use of the stationery, artwork or designs will be pursued. 

CREDITS AND PROMOTION 

Claire Rose Creative reserves the right to include photos of final invitations, illustrations and other designed goods in their portfolio including photos shared on social media and copies in sample packs. If you do not want photos of your stationery or illustration to be shared please do let us know. 

PROBLEMS WITH YOUR ORDER 

Please check all stationery upon receipt. Although extremely rare, any damaged or miscounted stationery or illustration must be highlighted within two days of delivery.
