about the artist
I’m Claire (she/her), the illustrator, designer and big smile behind Claire Rose Creative: a creative Cornwall Wedding Studio offering fine-art wedding stationery. I am completely obsessed with all things arty and lovey-dovey, and super passionate about helping creative couples celebrate their connection and tell their love story.
Weddings and elopements are everything I adore; a love fiesta, a coming together of favourite friends and family, an event oozing in style and personal curation, a swanky shindig, and above all else, a day of storytelling.
When I'm not illustrating in my Cornwall studio or drawing en Plein air on the Cornish coast, I’m usually chilling by the water, dancing unashamedly (and definitely not gracefully) to jazzy hip-hop tunes, sketching in Falmouth coffee shops or exploring with friends. I have a BA in Graphic Design and an MA in Illustration: Authorial Practice from Falmouth University, but in all honesty, I've learnt most of what I know through real-world experience and continuous curiosity.
